Artist Statement

Who is a Nun?

Is it someone who has felt called from an early age and always known they were going to be a nun?

Is it someone who has lived a ‘normal’ life, with husband and children, and felt the call later in life?

The answer to both questions is ‘yes’.

Gloria has been married twice and has children and grandchildren. She is also a Novice on her journey to becoming a nun, testing her faith and calling. She has agreed to share her story.
